Chula Vista Animal Care Facility (CVACF) is holding its Furry Friends and Family Fiesta to encourage pet adoption and bring awareness to keeping a healthy pet.
Featuring fun activities for the family including an obstacle course, scavenger hunt, look-alike contest and best trick contest.
For the pets there will be a rabies vaccine clinic, microchip clinic, dog license clinic and pet identification tags. Any late licensing fees will be waived when you bring five non-expired canned or packaged people food items to support local food bank.
Those interested in pet adoption, the Fiesta will feature a special $50 adoption fee – a discounted rate from the normal adoption fee of $75 for dogs and $65 for cats. Each adoption will include two free tickets to Sea World San Diego.
Event is held this Saturday, Aug. 23 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at CVACF 130 Beyer Way, Chula Vista. For more information call (619) 691-5123 or visit www.cvacf.org.
