National City phone scam

National City Police are warning residents of a phone scam.

Someone is calling residents to perform upgrades or services to their homes and representing themselves to be from the City of National City. Police said these calls are not from the City of National City.

Police are advising residents to ignore such calls. An investigation is underway.
